Who knew Washington Capitals defenseman Dmitry Orlov was a member of The Alliance of Magicians?!

Orlov presented his true self against the Colorado Avalanche when he fooled everyone on the ice – including his teammates – to score a goal on Calvin Pickard. Check it out:

The best part of the highlight is everyone standing around and the announcer calling the save for Pickard as Orlov plays on.

For all you young hockey players out there, that’s why you PLAY UNTIL YOU HEAR THE WHISTLE!

Orlov was one of seven (7!) different players who scored for the Caps against the Avs. The defenseman’s tally increased Washington’s lead on Colorado to four and the game ended on the final score of 7-3.
