During the long NHL season, Anaheim Ducks center Ryan Kesler trades in his wingers for Zambonis in the web series, Between Two Zambonis; a takeoff on the popular web series Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis.
With Kesler at the World Cup of Hockey, he hosted a special feature of Between Two Zambonis interviewing his Team USA teammates, or as Kesler describes them, “A lot of guys that have a better personality than Corey Perry. That’s not hard to do, though.”
They also played a special game of ‘Are You Smarter Than a Peewee Hockey Player?’ Anyone who couldn’t answer basic US trivia questions (okay – even we couldn’t answer all of them), received a mini pie to the face. Derek Stepan is donning the pie catapult contraption in the photo above.

The Ducks followed up Kesler’s webisode for ESPN with a behind the scenes glance at the making of the feature.
The breakout star of Kesler’s show is the always funny goaltender Cory Schneider.
He and Kesler were teammates with the Vancouver Canucks and the friendship remains. Schneider does his best impression of Jannik Hansen and Kesler teaches him how to impersonate Corey Perry (sans elbows).
Lots of laughs between Team USA compatriots. Not sure how John Tortorella would feel about all this joy during a very serious period.
