[The Chronicles of Stanley is an occasional series this summer that tracks the Pittsburgh Penguins as they each get their special alone time with the Stanley Cup.]
If this week’s round of up of Cup celebrations had a theme, it would be food and drink.
Kris Letang kicked off his day with the Cup by having a bowl of Muesli with his 3-year-old son, Alexander.
Once the handshakes were over and the Cup had been skated, it was time for the Pittsburgh Penguins to celebrate on the ice with family and friends before they got to the booze inside the locker room.
Check out some of the moments captured by reporters on the ice and those watching at home as the Penguins celebrated their win.
ON THE ICE…

We wondered how physical the series would get between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
It took only 2:50 to find out as Ryan Callahan boarded Kris Letang in the first period.
There was confusion at first as to what exactly Callahan’s penalty (or penalties) would be.
He received a five minute major for boarding. The assumption that he was going to be tossed to, but he was kept in the game.
We don’t know the reason why he didn’t receive a game misconduct when it was clear he boarded, and laid an elbow into the back of Letang’s head. Some surmised that the officials determined that Letang was not injured to the point of warranting Callahan’s expulsion.
